Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf is getting its first physical edition of the game later this year. Atari and Microids have announced that the Kindred Spirits Edition for PlayStation 5 will be available at retailers on October 29.
This special edition comes with more than just a physical version of the base game. It also includes a supporter pack, a 48-page softcover artbook, three postcards, and a sticker sheet. This allows players and collectors to discover the mysterious world of Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf in a new way.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf was released digitally earlier this year. In case you’re unfamiliar with this sequel to the original Planet of Lana, it’s a cinematic puzzle-platformer about companionship and trust that takes place on a hand-painted planet where nature meets technology. Lana and her companion Mui must uncover the long-buried truth about the world and about themselves.
The world tells a story with no spoken dialogue, just environmental cues, an alien language, orchestral music, and player choice. The platforming features puzzles that reward observation, timing, and cooperation between Lana and Mui. This time, Lana’s agility has been expanded, allowing for wall jumps with smooth movement and momentum.
Even if you’ve never played the first game, it’s a standalone experience; newcomers can jump right in, while returning players can enjoy a deeper, more emotional adventure.
Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf – Kindred Spirits Edition will be available physically for PlayStation 5 on October 29, 2026. You can learn more about it and preorder the game here.
