Boeing CH-47F Chinook for DCS World Gets Development Update

Eagle Dynamics provided a development update for the Boeing CH-47F Chinook for DCS World, which is currently in early access.
The development focus is currently on the Digital Automatic Flight Control System (DAFCS), and specifically the Position Hold feature.
It provides a stable hover, allowing pilots to maintain precise positioning effortlessly. It’s currently in internal testing.
On top of that, the developers are also working on Translational Rate Command (TRC) mode, and when the DAFCS modes are completed, pilots will be able to control the aircraft with a lesser workload.
After that, the focus will shift to the new rope-and-sling-loading system, which will enable multi-point sling loading.
Another upcoming implementation is the X-ray-based damage model, similar to the one included in WWII aircraft. This is a high priority and simulates internal structures and component-level damage.
