Boeing 727-100 Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024

FlightSim Studio released the Boeing 727-100, including the passenger version, the freighter version, and even the Super 27 version.

It’s available on Aerosoft and Contrail, starting at $77.44. It includes the following features.

  • Three included variants: 727-100 Passenger, 727-100 Freighter, Super 27-100 Passenger
  • Full classic cockpit workflow with a dedicated flight engineer station
  • Integrated EFB or clipboard for load management and performance tools
  • Navigation options for different eras: CIVA INS, GPS530, GNS-XLS FMC and PMS/ TDS GTN750 integration
  • Variant-specific focus with airline operations on the passenger model and cargo ops emphasis on the freighters
  • Animated ground services, including boarding and GPU connection
  • Customizable night lighting, either crew-controlled or automatic by flight phase
  • Cabin crew simulation with authentic announcements and ambient passenger sounds
  • Cockpit adapted to the 727-100 specifications and layout
  • Electronic Flight Bag (EFB, including SimBrief integration & performance calculation)
  • Extensive livery collection
  • MSFS 2020 native with MSFS 2024 compatibility

Mini-Max 1500R Sport Announced for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Emerald Scenery Design announced a small but interesting experimental aircraft, the Mini-Max 1500R Sport.

It will be released for MSFS 2024 (as a fully native, modular product) and MSFS 2020 soon on Orbx Direct, the developer’s own site, and the official marketplace for PC and Xbox. The developer hopes to release for PS5 as well when that option becomes available.

The price will be $14.99, and the aircraft is now in “the late stages of beta testing.”

  • A breakable prop, resulting in engine damage (Reset with Slew Mode)
  • 2-stroke choke simulation, including flooding (Optional + Persistent)
  • A togglable prop spinner (Persistent)
  • Tinted glass (Optional + Persistent)
  • Togglable Chocks
  • Togglable Pitot Cover (Will affect airspeed if left on)
  • Multiplayer Smoke
  • Headphone Simulation
  • Dynamic Vibration Simulation for gauges and various parts (Tunable Intensity + Persistent)
  • Custom Wwise Sounds

 Nordheimer Creek Ranch Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

 Orbx announced another small airfield in California, United States, for the lovers of bush flying. It’s Nordheimer Creek Ranch.

We already get to see a few screenshots, and below you can take a look at the features.

  • MSFS 2024 Native: Optimized for the latest engine performance and lighting.
  • Advanced Collision Modeling: Fully optimized for “out-of-cockpit” exploration; walk through the ranch, visit the docks, and feel the scale of the environment.
  • High-Fidelity Visuals: Ultra-detailed 4K PBR texturing on all structures and environmental assets.
  • Scenic Immersion: Includes two tranquil fishing ponds with one walkable dock and panoramic mountain views.
