Today, Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 announced that Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is scheduled to launch in Q1 2027 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is a story-driven rescue simulator set in the near future where drones serve as the player’s primary tool for responding to dangerous emergencies. The game will send players into situations involving fires, explosions, natural disasters, infrastructure failures, missing people, and extreme weather, requiring them to assess each threat, select the appropriate drone, and complete rescue operations under time pressure.
Rather than functioning as simple flying cameras, the drones are designed around physical flight simulation, with mass, inertia, thrust, aerodynamics, battery capacity, damage, and weather conditions all affecting their performance. Players can choose between Simulator and Arcade control modes, with the former offering more realistic piloting and the latter providing additional assistance for newcomers. A workshop will also let players upgrade drones with components that affect speed, thrust, flight time, durability, and overall handling.
Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance will feature four specialized drones, each designed for a different type of emergency. The Rescue Drone can track missing civilians through cell signals, deliver medical kits, and mark targets; the Firefighting Drone can extinguish fires using a powder extinguisher or water balloons; the Police Drone can issue voice commands and deploy smoke grenades and a taser; and the Interceptor Drone can use a net launcher to turn off hostile drones and secure the airspace.
The simulator also places a strong emphasis on its narrative, with the title referring to both the people being rescued and the members of the game’s specialist team. Accidents, illness, age, or trauma forced these characters out of their previous careers, but drone technology lets them put their knowledge and experience back to work from a safe distance.

The campaign is divided into four acts and is expected to take approximately 10 to 15 hours to complete. Real-world disasters inspire missions and take players across environments including forests, coastal areas, city centers, and industrial districts, with changing weather conditions that can alter how familiar operations unfold.
Although Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is set in the near future, its presentation draws heavily from the industrial aesthetics and technology of the 1980s and 1990s, incorporating analog electronics, physical control panels, and equipment designed around practicality. Wojciech Pazdur, CEO and co-founder of The Farm 51, serves as art director and is also composing the game’s music, and Artur Fojcik, known for his work on Chernobylite and Get Even, is director and story lead.
