Today the popular Japanese esports organization Reject announced that it will expand its operations with a brand new team dedicated to League of Legends.
The formation of the new division coincides with the new format coming to the League of Legends Japan League in 2025 with the aim of “bringing a breath of fresh air to the Japanese LoL scene.”
The team also aims to win the LJL 2025 and earn the right to participate in the League of Legends Championship Pacific.
The following players and professionals have been recruited for the team.

- HW4NG
VicaL will perform the role of head coach, TaNa will operate as the coach, and HW4NG will be the team’s General Manager.
Reject CEO Shoya Koyama accompanied the press release with a comment mentioning that expanding to League of Legends, which is one of the world’s biggest esports games, is a big challenge and a new step for Reject.
He’s proud to challenge the game with eight talented and passionate team members and the aim is not only to win but also to contribute to the development of the League scene in Japan.
If you’re unfamiliar with Reject, the organization was founded in 2018 and it’s active across several games. In 2024, Reject’s team was the first Japanese team to win the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024 in Brazil.
The Apex Legends team was also the first team from the Asia Pacific North region to win the Apex Legends Global Series Split 1 playoffs.
