Riot Games has revealed quite a bit of new content coming to Valorant when Act 4 starts on June 24, 2026, including the brand-new map, Summit, the new skin bundle, Blackspyre, and a three-versus-three game mode, Retake.
To start with, Summit is a new map that’s set in the Chinese mountains. Lore-wise, it’s the monastery for Radiants where Sage once trained before joining Valorant. In fact, she’s a key part of the official map reveal trailer, as Sage’s health has been a major problem in Valorant lore for quite some time (for example, see the 2026 Cinematic Kickoff trailer). Players can check out the trailer below:
Summit has two Spike sites that are connected with training halls and gardens in the standard three-lane format (A Site, B Site, and Mid). The map’s gimmick is its droppable walls, one in each lane. Once these lanes are dropped, they’re down for the rest of the round, and they’re crafted to cut off important sightlines and rotation paths.
Summit will immediately enter the Competitive queue when it’s released. For the first two weeks, players will only lose 50% RR when losing a game on Summit, though they’ll gain 100% off their RR for wins. There will also be a Summit-only queue for seven days, which will follow the Swiftplay format. A developer diary for Summit can be found here, which shows off the map itself as well as the thought process behind its design.
Players can check out some images from around the map below:

Riot also revealed the Valorant Act 4 Battlepass. The free items for the pass include the Sky Reaper Ghost, Heal Up Squad Lore Card, Binding Thread Buddy, and On Your Feet Spray.
For 1,000 VP, players can purchase the paid track for the Battlepass, which includes the following:
- Sky Reaper Sword (Melee)
- Tacti-Guild Phantom
- Intertwine Guardian
- Boom Ball Flex
- Unstoppable // Iso Card
- Soft and Deadly Card
- Blep Spray
- Unimpressed Spray
- Prooooowler Buddy
The Blackspyre Skin Bundle will also be released with Valorant Act 4. The bundle includes a Phantom, Sheriff, Spectre, Ares, and a new melee. The skin line draws inspiration from sci-fi and magic, and players can check out the trailer for the skin line, which shows off the animations for the skins, below:
Last but not least, Valorant’s Season 2026 Act 4 will introduce a new game mode, Retake. As the name implies, Retake focuses on just retaking sites. The game mode features two teams of three players, where one team is defending a site, and the other is retaking it. The Spike is already planted, and teams will swap sides every round.
Players will choose two cards at the start of each round. One includes weapons and armor, while the other focuses on ability charges. There will be two randomized options for each card at the start of the round, and the cards get better every round.
The first team to five wins takes the overall victory. Additionally, Retake will feature specific sites from other maps, and the site pool will grow through Act 4.
All of this content comes with Valorant Season 2026 Act 4, which is scheduled to release on June 24, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
