Kinetic Games has officially implemented its next major rework for 2025 for its hit ghost-hunting horror simulator, Phasmophobia, with Bleasdale Farmhouse getting an update today.

Bleasdale Farmhouse has been fully overhauled with a new layout, visual assets, and environmental features. These include Motion-Sensing exterior lights and bead string doors that can be triggered by both ghosts and players, lights that can be toggled with multiple switches, and lots of new ghost interactables.

Other small changes vary from the fact that it is now classified as a medium map, Pianos have new interactions, and the “Get a ghost to blow out a firelight” objective now only counts for player equipment. Several quality-of-life updates have also been implemented, like fixing several location issues that would cause the player to get stuck.

The Bleasdale Farmhouse rework is just one of the major upcoming changes coming alongside the Phasmophobia 2025 roadmap. Other upcoming updates include reworks for Grafton Farmhouse and 6 Tanglewood Drive and tweaks to Seasonal Events.

There are also plans in the work to update the game next year, including full player customization, which will give plenty of time to focus on the Horror 2.0 update and the new maps they’re set to introduce this year.

For those who may not have played Phasmophobia, the ghost-hunting horror simulator was originally released into Steam early access in September 2020. The game gained considerable popularity with Twitch and YouTuber streamers thanks to its unique cooperative gameplay, which sees players work in groups to complete a contract and identify the type of ghost they are hunting.

Just recently, it even managed to cross the 1 Million console sold mark on consoles, which is impressive considering it had only been out for a little over a month in early access. Phasmophobia is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
