Today, Studio 369 revealed that its upcoming medieval kingdom builder, Noble Legacy, is coming to early access next month.
Noble Legacy is a city-building sim set in the Middle Ages, where players take on the role of a ruler returning from war. They’ve received the land of Greenwood, though it’s run down and in need of work. Players will work directly with the villagers to build and grow the town, completing tasks themselves while also delegating responsibilities to other villagers.
One of the things that sets Noble Legacy apart from other city builders set in the past is that it’s peaceful. There’s very little conflict in the game, so players can really focus on building the village they want. Whether that’s detailing and building custom homes for everyone or using pre-made builds, the choice is up to the player.
Additionally, players can learn more about the villagers they recruit, building relationships with them. The villagers each have their own personalities and stories to discover.
Of course, raising a thriving kingdom from the ground up requires more than just getting to know the villagers. Players will have to manage their resources well, invest in their people, and work on the ground to build the kingdom
Players can check out the Noble Legacy trailer, which was revealed a bit earlier than the news of the early access release date:
Players who pre-order Noble Legacy will get an exclusive in-game bonus: the character Abigail. She’s a Tier 3 survivalist who was raised by outlaws. She’s recently been pardoned for her crimes, leading her to Greenwood.
Noble Legacy will be released into early access on July 15, 2025, on Steam. Until then, check out screenshots that Studio 369 shared:
