SCS Software revealed new screenshots of the upcoming Benelux rework in the works for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
In a new blog post, we get to see some of the gas stations and truck stops that are being created for the overhaul of the Benelux Region.
Specifically, the developers showcased them for each country involved: the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Interestingly, the goal of the developers wasn’t just to make the areas more visually appealing, but also to improve the authenticity, bringing the road network closer to its real-world counterpart, which will, in turn, also increase immersion.
You can check out the screenshots below alongside a video published on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, and the coastlines.
The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, Antwerp, Eindhoven, and Groningen. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
