Publisher Smilegate and developer Control 9 brought the upcoming free-to-play game Miresi: Invisible Future back under the spotlight after a few months of relative quiet following Tokyo Game Show.
Not only do we get a new trailer teasing the story and the main characters (Ende, Itsuka, and Tieria), but also a new “Chronicle” website designed to facilitate the game’s journey through development, including event participation and how feedback is incorporated into design.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Event participation history
- Survey results covering graphics, combat, and characters
- Development interim reports
- And more
You can check out the trailer below.
If you’re unfamiliar with Miresi, it was presented at Tokyo Game Show last year alongside Chaos Zero Nightmare (about which we also have an interview).
It’s developed by Control 9, which is a studio including veterans from acclaimed games like Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Seven Knights 2. Its Art Director is r Hyung-seop “Hyulla” Kim, who previously worked on Nikke and many more games in this genre.
Incidentally, we have an interview with him in store, so you should stay tuned on Simulation Daily to read it. It’ll certainly be interesting for those who love this genre of games.
Miresi: Invisible Future will release in 2026 on “various platforms” including PC and mobile. At the moment, a specific release date has not yet been announced, and we don’t know if these “various platforms” include consoles or not. Of course, we’ll stay tuned and keep you in the look iof we hear anything relevant.
