Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will have a feature for those who are competitively minded in the form of challenges.
The build we tried at a preview event in Arizona had three challenges in its “Challenge League” menu. One was a timed race with a F/A-18 Super Hornet in the Grand Canyon. The second was a precision landing challenge with a helicopter.
The third challenged players to fly low and fast over the Blue Ridge Mountains in the United States, without a specific course to follow and only a final objective to reach. The lower your altitude and times at specific intervals, the less points you accrued, the better.
Below you can check out a recording of said challenge, with a bonus look at the gorgeous woods adorning the mountains, enriched by the reds and yellows of the fall season.
Of course, you should continue to check out Simulation Daily regularly, because we’ll have even more Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 coverage on the site over the next few days, including more gameplay footage.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will launch for PC and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2024. You can find all the editions and the full list of aircraft they come with in our dedicated article.
