Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 includes a lot of interesting new features, and the character creation is a big change compared to the original Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Those who love being represented in the sim by just the perfect pilot have an ample range of choices including face, body type, and hair for physical appearance, and tops, legwear, footwear, eyewear, and uniforms on the fashion side.
There is also a selection of voices on top of the ability to record your own and have it used during all communication in the sim.
The footage you can see below was recorded from an early build playable at a preview event in Arizona, United States. Do keep in mind that we’re still two months from launch, so the build was incomplete and you may see a couple of glitches here and there.
That being said, it’s certainly impressive, as you can see for yourself.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will release on November 19 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. You can find the full aircraft list in our dedicated article.
If you’d like to read and see more from the preview event, you can check out our hands-on preview with plenty of details for your perusal, our interview with Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch, and our crazy A-10 flight through the gorgeous rendition of the Grand Canyon.
There’s a lot more to come over the next few days, so make sure to stay tuned for more coverage.
