If you’re familiar with Trails opening cutscenes, you probably won’t find many surprises here, as it’s the traditional marathon through the massive cast of the game. When you have a series as long-running as this one, always sticking to the same setting and cast, it’s normal that there is a metric ton of characters to show.

You can check out the version of the trailer with bonus English subtitles below, courtesy of Clouded Leopard Entertainment, which publishes the game in Asia.

The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria- (the list of cast members isn’t the only thing that has gotten longer) will release both in Japan and in Asia on September 26.

The trailer in English should not provide you with false hopes. Clouded Leopard Entertainment will release the game with Chinese and Korean subtitles only.

The license for the English version is held by NIS America, which is still waiting to release the previous game of the series Trails Through Daybreak II. It’s coming sometime in early 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak (two games before Kai no Kiseki) has actually just been released in the West for the same platforms in early July.

The Western release of Kai no Kiseki has not yet been announced and we’re unlikely to hear anything about it for several months.
