Get ready, renovators. The fifth major update for House Flipper 2, Bewitching Renovations, is now available just in time for Halloween. The latest free update will download automatically and implement plenty of bug fixes while adding 230 new times.
The new items include everything from gothic architectural elements to a witch’s broom with its own matching broom stand. Alongside those items, there’s also a new job, perk, and buyers tab coming in the update,
- New job: “My house might scare away all the little ghosts” in Old Pinnacove. (Unlocks after Cleaning up after the flood or More light, please)
- Brand new property: “Vacant Private School” in Old Pinnacove
- New character models and pronoun options.
- New assembly: Candelabra
- Perk “Can of All Colors” under the Paint category.
- New Buyers tab (unlocked after buying your first house).
- New vacuumable objects added to sandbox mode.
Quality of life changes include improvements to the refresh rate, fence placements, tool tips for color names, and much easier quest unpacking in sandbox mode.
The co-op also got some additions, as hosts can now kick clients, and tools you unlocked from the multilayer campaigns can now be used in a single-player. You can see the complete list of changes in the full patch notes here.
House Flipper 2’s next and final update for 2024 will be its winter update, which should be coming out around Christmas time. It will feature winter-themed houses, plenty of snow, and lots of holiday-themed lighting options.
Developed by Frozen District and Empyrean and published by PlayWay, the House Flippers simulation series has found decent success since the first installment was released in 2018. In each game, players purchase, clean, and restore houses to sell them for a profit.
To successfully sell a house, you must complete specific tasks in the game’s campaign, accompanied by a story. There’s also a sandbox mode that allows you to design a house from scratch. House Flipper 2 is currently available on PC (Steam), with ports coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 10, 2024.
