Today, Paradox Arc, the publishing label of Paradox Interactive, has announced a partnership with Blue Isle Studios for their upcoming game Guardians of the Wild Sky. The game will release in Steam Early Access next year.
In Guardians of the Wild Sky, players will be able to sail through the skies on an airship, exploring a world with floating biomes, hidden treasure, and dangerous creatures. The game will be able to be played solo or cooperatively with up to four others, and it challenges players to survive, craft, explore, and capture magical companions known as Guardians. These Guardians have unique abilities and traits that help players travel through the sky.
Players will have a wide range of options when it comes to building; they’ll be able to design cozy cottages, flying castles, vessels of war, and much more. The game will feature an in-depth crafting system, as well as mod support available at launch.
Here’s what Alex Tintor, co-founder of Blue Isle Studios, has to say about the new partnership with Paradox Arc:
We’ve spent years building Guardians of the Wild Sky into the game we’ve always wanted it to be, and partnering with Paradox gives us the opportunity to take that vision even further. They understand how to work closely with the community, share our ambition for where it can go, and bring the experience and resources to help us deliver something truly exceptional. For a small team like ours, this partnership is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be more excited about what comes next.”
