Today, during the Manufacturers Cup event of the GT World Series 2025, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced a collaboration between Gran Turismo 7 and Xiaomi.

The collaboration involves the implementation of the Xiaomo SU7 ultra sports electric vehicle will be coming to Gran Turismo 7 “very, very soon.”

On top of the SU7 Ultra, Producer Kazunori Yamauchi had another announcement to share in collaboration with Xiaomi during the livestream, and it’s that a Xiaomi Vision GT will also be coming to the game.

Apparently, if you watch the video below, everyone is “very, very excited.” On the other hand, the comments play a slightly different tune.

You can check it out and judge for yourself.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Vision GT concept, it has always been a very interesting one in the world of Sim Racing.

It involves a variety of prestigious (some more, some less, and some “definitely less,” I suppose) car manufacturers designing concept cars directly for the simulator, merging real-world design and virtual application.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022. There have been rumors and a lot of wishful thinking about a PC version, but for now, it has not materialized.

The game has been updated very actively since its release, and the latest update came in May, including four new cars, specifically the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) ’01, the Ferrari 812 Superfast ’17, the Honda CR-V e:HEV EX・Black Edition ’21, and the Suzuki Carry KC ’12.
