Don’t let the date trick you — it might be April Fools’ Day, but Coffee Stain North released an entirely true Goat Direct in the on-brand way as the 10th anniversary for the franchise is coming to an end.
To kick things off, a free update for Goat Simulator 3, Gifts from the Rifts, was released. Gifts from the Rifts is full of ideas that developers had but weren’t chosen at the time of inception. It includes 27 new gears, with one of them being a hidden gear.
Additionally, there are two new events to kick off April Fools’ Day in San Angora. A new goat is also part of the update, the Plushie Pilgor, who has a new ability that turns anything in its way into a toy.
The Plushie Pilgor is also available for pre-order through YouTooz. Getting the plushie also gives players access to a hidden gear in-game. The plushie is estimated to start shipping in late July.
Goat Simulator: The Card Game is launching on Kickstarter on April 30, and it includes a throwing goat card, among others. The card game is being created by MOOD Publishing, which saw massive Kickstarter success with Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game (saw 20,000 backers and 1,000% funded).
Goat Simulator 3’s first major DLC, the Multiverse of Nonsense, is finally hitting iOS and Android in the future. This was first released on other platforms in June 2024.
A new Goat Simulator-themed controller collection from CRKD is coming soon. The new Nitro Deck – Goat Simulator Edition works for the Nintendo Switch (and OLED), while the NEO S – Goat Simulator Edition will work for Nintendo Switch, PC, Mobile, and Smart TVs.
The A Goat outfit in Fortnite will also be released again. Additionally, Goat Simulator 3 will be part of Twitch Rivals. Fans can view the teaser below:

Creative Director at Coffee Stain North Santiago Ferrero shared his thoughts about the Goat Direct and the franchise as a whole:
“Over a decade of Goat Simulator? Who would’ve thought we’d still be going! And we’re not done yet! So many exciting new endeavours were announced today during our totally unique and original Goat Direct, and we’re thrilled to bring so much more goaty goodness to the world. Oh, and we hope you enjoyed the showcase right to the end and saw our ominous teaser for something else exciting, too. Is it top secret? Yes. Is it super cool? Also yes. Will we be elaborating further? Absolutely not.”
