Today, Burst2Flame Games officially revealed their upcoming turn-based RPG Stolen Realm 2. This sequel to Stolen Realm combines fantasy, post-apocalyptic, and sci-fi worlds with even more freedom than what was available in the first game.
In Stolen Realm 2, mysterious portals have begun to open across the land, and players must face everything from dragons and werewolves to zombies, aliens, and creatures from beyond the realm. The journey will take players across a variety of different environments and realities.
Stolen Realm 2 builds on the foundations of the original game with character building without traditional class restrictions, meaningful quests and choices, online co-op with up to six players, and both campaign and roguelike modes. The sequel expands the adventure into new worlds with new threats to encounter. Because there are no class restrictions, players will be able to mix abilities, weapons, equipment, and playstyles to build the exact kind of hero they want.
The game’s campaign will be filled with quests, choices, new worlds, and legendary encounters. In Roguelike mode, players can test their builds again and again in an endlessly replayable experience.
Because the Burst2Flame Games studio is a small team of just three developers, Stolen Realm 2 will lean on a Kickstarter campaign for its funding. The funding campaign hasn’t launched yet, but you can be notified when it begins on its official project page right here. The original Stolen Realm game was also funded from Kickstarter and raised $11,096 back in 2020.
Even though there’s a Kickstarter campaign for the game, the team has already been hard at work. You can watch the announcement trailer for Stolen Realm 2 below.
The original Stolen Realm is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. As of right now, the only platform announced for Stolen Realm 2 is PC via Steam.
