Today, Sony and Polyphony Digital hosted Round 3 of the Gran Turismo 7 World Series in Singapore, and as usual, they came with news aplenty.
But let’s go in order, and let’s start with the results of the round, which saw the Manufacturers Cup won by Daniel Solis racing for Subaru.
A second place for Ferrari and a slip to fifth place for Porsche means that, while the German manufacturer is still leading the points ranking, there are only 2 points between them heading into the final round in Tokyo.
The prestigious Nations Cup was won by Takuma Miyazono, who now settles in third place in the overall ranking, with the same number of points held by Kylian Drumont, who won round 2.
Jose Serrano did not win any rounds yet, but he’s leading the ranking due to his consistent performance since Round 1. You can see today’s results below and the recordings of the races at the bottom of the post.

During the show, we also saw the reveal of the Xiaomo Vision Gran Turismo, which was teased a while ago.
Later, during the Nations Cup, we learned that the Xiaomi Vision GT is coming among the new cars included in part 2 of the Spec IV update, which will release on October 15. Here’s the list

- Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94
- Honda Civic Si Group A version ’87

The update will also introduce the Sportsland Sugo circuit and new features.
Polyphony also had an announcement to share with Thrustmaster, which becomes official partner of the Gran Turismo World Series and introduced a new racing wheel.
The Thrustmaster T-GT III is actually the fifth officially licensed Gran Turismo wheel made by the company.
