Without further ado, I leave you with today’s flight simulation news.

F-16 Falcon and TA-4J Skyhawk for MSFS Get New Screenshots and Development Update

A flight Simulation scene: Microsoft Flight Simulator F16

Indiafoxtecho provided a development update and screenshots for its upcoming F-16 Falcon and TA-4J Skyhawk, on top of info on updates for its existing aircraft.

F-16A FALCON

There is still some work to be done on multiple fronts, but the package is in a very good shape. In particular, the art package is not yet complete, and some more work is needed on the navigation and store management systems.

We do not have a release date just yet – we’ll try our best to deliver it this year, but -as usual- “it is ready when it is ready”.

TA-4J SKYHAWK

Good progress in many areas, including the CFD flight model, cockpit art and functionality. We still need to complete some parts of the navigation system, and add functionality to some panels in the cockpit and add the sound package, but we are close to a proper beta.

F-35 VERSION 1.X

While work has started on the 2.X version, in the real world the F-35 program achieved important milestones (like the first flight for German and Canadian planes). This, together with the fact that the 2.X will take several months to complete, motivated us to work on a MASSIVE F-35 1.4.6 update, which will include some of the features that were planned for 2.X, along with many new liveries and improvements.

It may not make sense commercially (as this may reduce the appeal to buy the 2.X version), but so be it: we want you to have the best F-35 experience we can deliver while waiting for the 2.X.

TORNADO

We have been working on a major update to the TV/TAB and navigation system to allow better integration with MSFS2024 and its EFB (and a more reliable behavior in 2020). It is basically done, but we need to find the time to pack it (and take the chance to fix some minor glitches)

F-14 TOMCAT

We are working on a further small update to intriduce glove vanes and fix a couple of minor glitches.

T-45 GOSHAWK AND LONG-EZ “2.0”

As stated previously, we are updating these projects to bring them to up-to-date graphical standards and then convert them to native 2024 formats. Good progress on both – especially the T-45 – but we do not have a release date just yet.

Poznań–Ławica Airport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots

Drzewiecki Design released several new screenshots of Poznań–Ławica Henryk Wieniawski Airport (EPPO) in Poland.

We also get a brief development update.

“Work at EPPO Poznań MSFS now includes the passenger terminal’s interiors. The GA terminal model has received further refinements, while modelling has begun on the older buildings beside the general aviation apron.

The Audi dealership model is complete, with work continuing on the Toyota and Lexus dealerships. We have also created two custom Audi vehicle models for the showroom, including LODs and consolidated textures.

At ground level, car parks have been populated with vehicles, and additional edging and dirt layers have been added to the surfaces. New fencing has been positioned to follow the terrain, alongside adjustments to the ground around the GA terminal.”

Kitadaito Airport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots and Development Update

Gate15 Scenery released new work-in-progress screenshots of Kitadaito Airport (RORK) in Japan.

We also get a development update.

“Kita-Daito Airport has entered the final testing and refinement stage.

As part of the final testing process, we are making detailed adjustments and adding additional objects and environmental details to further improve the accuracy and overall realism of the airport.

We are currently focused on the final polishing and optimization, and the release is now very close.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. We look forward to bringing Kita-Daito Airport to you very soon.”

New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots

Imaginesim released new screenshots of its Indira Gandhi International Airport (VIDP), serving New Delhi in India.

A release window has not been announced just yet.
