Today, Playground Games released the latest update for the hit racing simulator Forza Motorsport. Teased in a previous road map announcement late last month, update 12 brings lots of new features and playable content fans will love.
First, there is Spectate Mode, which is now available in Forza Motorsport’s Private Multiplayer. Admins will now be able to create and broadcast their own events with a bevy of different camera angles and features to help them create a realistic and exciting environment for their communities.
These camera and UI changes include a full-field dynamic driver list and lap counter, improved panel control, and customizable HUDs, just to name a few. Challenge Hub also gets added to both Career Mode, Featured Multiplayer, and Rivals, presenting players with special objectives and rewards for each race.
Last but not least, a brand new showcase tour is being added later this week. Available from September 11, 2024, at 5 pm PT to January 30, 2025, at 4 pm PT, the Jordan Luka 3 Motorsport Series career event allows players to relive this driver’s experience all the way from Hakone and back. The Mid-Engine Tour will also be available starting the same date but only runs until October 30, 2024, at 5 pm PT.
That is just the tip of the iceberg for additions and improvements to this patch, as there are plenty of quality-of-life changes coming alongside it as well. For more information on everything added in update 12, watch the video above or visit the official Forza Motorsport forum.
