Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to use mods in Farming Simulator: Signature Edition for the first time, as Giants Software has added the official ModHub to the game.
Over 4,000 mods are available in the ModHub for Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, and they can all be downloaded instantly from the main menu. These mods include things like machines, implements, additional licensed brands, new maps (including fan-favorite maps from past games in the franchise), and plenty more.
There are also mods that add content like more production chains to give the game more depth, and decorative mods that let players design their farmlands to their own liking.
All of the official ModHub mods for Farming Simulator: Signature Edition have been created by users. They’ve all been tested by developers before being added to the ModHub, as well as checked by automated systems to make sure they don’t cause problems and meet the performance requirements for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Mods will be added to the official ModHub weekly as they’re created and tested, and players can always check them out on the main menu.
Marcel Renke, the UGC Platform Specialist at Giants Software, shared a comment on the Nintendo Switch 2 ModHub:
“We’re excited to expand the ModHub to Nintendo Switch 2, reaching an even larger audience. This new modding milestone allows players to experience community-created Farming Simulator content on a Nintendo platform for the very first time.”
An announcement trailer for the ModHub addition was also released, which players can check out below:
