Cat Secretary Delayed to Avoid Developer Crunch
Good Story Guild announced that Cat Secretary has been delayed. The narrative-driven adventure about a cat working an office job was originally supposed to release next month, but instead it will be launching on January 20, 2027.
The team made the decision to delay Cat Secretary to make sure they can incorporate feedback from those who played the demo, fix bugs, optimize it for Steam Deck compatibility, and avoid crunch time.
In Cat Secretary, players must clock in at mega-corporation DOX’s offices doing daily tasks like organizing paperwork and fixing the router, all while playing as an adorable cat in a suit. DOX plans to replace all of the human workers with AI robots, so it’s up to players to help kitty’s coworkers and put a stop to the takeover, saving the soul of the company.
Edge of Memories Gets Release Date and Updated Demo
Nacon has also announced a new release date for Edge of Memories, the third-person action RPG set in a world ravaged by the Corrosion, along with an updated demo. The game will release on December 3 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In Edge of Memories, players take on the role of a young nomad named Eline who must lead fierce battles to save the world from extinction. Eline finds that she may hold the power to control the Corrosion within her own body.
The game’s updated demo will be available on Steam in November, and it will allow players to experience the latest improvements to the game. Midgar Studio has taken feedback from the community to make the game’s combat feel more dynamic and intense, and the updated demo includes improvements to gameplay and accessibility.
