Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software released new images, footage, and details about the Iceland DLC.
Specifically, we get to see the custom depots that will be featured in the Nordic island nation, including a silicon metal factory, which is an accurate 1:1 reproduction of the corresponding real-world facility.
Only the name will be different, as it’ll be the location for the new in-game company Kísilverksmiðja, native to Euro Truck Simulator 2. It’ll feature dynamic cargo loading and unloading for logs.
You’ll also find three custom-made quarries in the towns of Selfoss, Patreksfjörður, and Blönduós, working for the MS Stein company.
Six custom farm depots will include local Icelandic sheep and cattle.
Below, you can check out the screenshots (the last three show the ferry) and a video published on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. Update 1.59 has recently been released for PC.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, and Keflavík.
Further national DLCs announced focus on Ireland and on Turkey.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, and the next rework focuses on the UK.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
