Today, Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software revealed another of the cities that will be featured in the upcoming Benelux Rework.
Specifically, we get to take a look at Groningen in the Netherlands. While the city already exists in the current incarnation of Euro Truck Simulator 2, it has been completely rebuilt from the ground up for the rework.
It’ll include an accurate reproduction of the N7 ring road, including its underground section.
In terms of depots, you’ll find furniture stores, logistics depots, and grocery warehouses, on top of a large sugar factory complex.
Traveling along the Verbindingkanaal you’ll find the main railway station, the bus terminal, and the Groningen Museum. Speaking of canals, you’ll find plenty more of them alongside drawbridges.
Below, you can enjoy a gallery of screenshots and a video, released on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.
The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, Antwerp, and Eindhoven. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
