SCS Software showcased another look at the upcoming Coaches feature for Euro Truck Simulator 2, and specifically how expansion DLC regions are being prepared for its introduction.
Not only did the developers have to work on the base Euro Truck Simulator 2 map to expand and rework existing coach stations, but they had to revisit older expansions as well, like Italia, Road to the Black Sea, and Beyond the Baltic Sea.
This actually involves using older assets and techniques to ensure the new additions don’t feel out of place.
Even newer Euro Truck Simulator 2 expansions need work to integrate the full coach stations, mostly due to limited space in dense urban areas.
You can see screenshots of the results of such work below, followed by footage published on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. The beta of update 1.59 has recently been made available.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, and Keflavík.
The last national DLCs announced focus on Ireland and on Turkey.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, and the next rework focuses on the UK.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
