CD Projekt announced its financial results for Q3 of 2025, related to the period between July and September, also providing an update about the sales of Cyberpunk 2077.
First of all, we learn that Cyberpunk 2077 has now shipped 35 million copies (as of today, November 26, 2025), including both individual copies and the ultimate edition bundle.
The developer clarified that the 35 million copies figure includes only actual sales, and not downloads via PlayStation Plus. That being said, the release on Sony’s subscription service helped reach new users, and many purchased the Phantom Liberty expansion.
It’s pretty much certain that the redemption arc of the game has now been completed.
Moving on to the actual financial results, revenue from sales was 349.072 million Polish złoty, up a whopping 53% year-on-year. Net profit was 193.492 million Polish złoty, growing by an even more impressive 148% year-on-year.
As usual, CD Projekt shared an infographic showing the number of developers on each team, and we see that the Witcher 4 team has remained almost unchanged since July, growing only from 444 developers to 447.
On the other hand, the Cyberpunk 2 team has grown further from 116 to 135, but remains much smaller for now.

That being said, the developer also provided a visualization of how it intends to expand the Cyberpunk 2 teams in 2026 and 2027, between Warsaw, Vancouver, and Boston.
The Boston team includes over 80 developers as of now, and over 90% of them have senior-level positions.
Hires for the team include “skilled industry professionals with a proven track record” who worked on games like Grand Theft Auto, God of War, World of Warcraft, and The Last of Us.
Now that the goal of building the core team is accomplished, we hear that the developer will hire more mid and entry-level roles to carry on the pre-production work.
