Guilty Gear Strive was released four years ago, but with its fourth season pass in full swing and a lively competitive scene, it doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
With the successful showing at the Arc World Tour tournament and the release of Venom, there is still plenty of excitement to come, including the airing of the Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers anime, the release in the game of its new character Unika, and then the guest character Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
To hear more about the current state of the game and its future, Simulation Daily had a chat with producer Ken Miyauchi, who shared some interesting details, including how the Cyberpunk collaboration happened, and even mentioned that he’d like to consider a Nintendo Switch 2 port when the new console launches.
Miyauchi-san also provided some insight on how the developer selects characters to release as DLC and why it has switched to revealing the whole season pass inn one go instead of trickling character reveals one by one.
