Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will take place on June 8, and The Outer Wilds 2 Direst will follow immediately after.
The Xbox Games Showcase is the hub of information for first-party Xbox titles, along with several major third-party partners. In the past, titles like Call of Duty, Starfield, Age of Mythology, Avowed, and Dragon Age have all been featured.
The Outer Wilds 2 is getting an entire presentation by itself, The Outer Wilds 2 Direct. This Direct will feature gameplay, game details, and commentary from developers as fans get a fresh look at the upcoming sci-fi RPG.
The week following the Direct will also be full of news, deep-dives, and detailed coverage of the games featured in the Xbox Games Showcase 2025. The Xbox YouTube channel will be a hub of information in the second week of June.
