THQ Nordic Showcase Reveals New Games and Gameplay

Today THQ Nordic hosted its Digital Showcase and the publisher had plenty of goodies and a couple of surprises in store.

First of all, a new Darksiders game apparently developed by Gunfire Games has been teased. No further details have been shared at the moment.

Another teaser comes from Tarsier Studios, which includes developers who worked on Little Nightmares and its sequel. No real info has been shared besides the fact that more will be shown at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 20. The trailer can’t be embedded so you can watch it on YouTube.

The Eternal Life of Goldman by Weappy has been revealed. it’s a platformer adventure based on a new IP coming for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

The crafting survival game Space for Sale by Mirage Game Studios just launched in early access on Steam.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was showcased with a new trailer, and it’s coming for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 24, 2024.

The destruction derby game Wreckfest 2 has been announced, developed by Bugbear. It’ll be released down the line for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The action RPG Titan Quest II by Grimlore Games was also showcased. It’s coming for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The first gameplay of the Gothic 1 Remake has been revealed, and the trailer is available on YouTube. It’s coming for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Lastly, we take a look at the Lintukoto Reserve DLC for Way of the Hunter, by Nine Rocks Games. It’s already out for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Prison Architect 2 Delayed With No New Release Date

Paradox Entertainment and Double Eleven announced that Prison Architect 2 has been delayed.

The sequel of the popular prison simulator is still coming, but the developers need more time to improve the quality before release, that being said, they’re still confident in their game.

On the other hand, they’re not ready to commit to a firm release date for the moment. The improvements they want to make are mainly on the performance front (it appears that they have learned the lesson from Cities: Skylines 2) and all pre-orders will be refunded “in the coming weeks.”

Uboat Leaves Early Access and Achieves Full Release

Five years have passed since the early access launch of Deep Water Studio’s submarine management simulation Uboat, and the time for a full release on Steam has finally come.

It comes with a large update that brings improvements, new features, and polish to the already excellent game. That being said, the developers are committed to continue expanding and refining the game further even after its release.
