Paralives Studio has updated the minimum system requirements for its flagship life simulation game a few weeks ahead of its early access launch.

Paralives is an upcoming Sims-like life sim, where players will be able to create characters and live in an open-world town. Players will have to balance the wants and needs for their Parafolks.

The life sim is releasing into early access soon, and Paralives Studio has changed the minimum system requirements for it.

For Windows users, the minimums are as follows:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 @ 2.5 GHz
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1060 or RX 6600 XT
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

The recommended settings for Windows are a bit higher:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 @ 3.0 GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 2060 or RX 7600 XT
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

For Mac users, the minimums look like this, with the recommended requirements in parentheses:

  • OS: macOS Big Sur 11
  • Processor: Apple M2 (Apple M3)
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM (16 GB RAM)
  • Graphics: Apple M2 (Apple M3)

What’s noteworthy here is that the minimum system requirements for Paralives are lower than the other major Sims-like competitor, inZOI. For players who want to enjoy a Sims game that’s not The Sims, Paralives is an accessible option.

Of course, Paralives and inZOI aren’t the only Sims-like games out there, but they’re the ones making the biggest waves lately.

Paralives is set to release in early access on December 8, 2025. It’s worth noting that the game will see a price increase with its 1.0 release, though Paralives Studio has already explained that there are no plans to release DLC content — any additional content will come for free.
