Two New Nintendo Switch 2 Bundles Arrive Before Holidays

Nintendo has announced in a press release two new bundles for the Nintendo Switch 2 that will hit shelves over the next few months.
The first will arrive in late September and will include a digital download for Mario Kart World and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The price of this bundle will be $549.99, which is a savings of $37.98.
The second bundle will come on October 22 and will include a digital download for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which launches the same day, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. This bundle will cost $529.99, saving $27.98.


As a reminder, the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 system increases to $499.99 on September 1, and the bundle prices reflect this change.
Road Truckers: New Beginning Gets A New Trailer

A new trailer for Road Truckers: New Beginning has dropped. In the video, Road Studio S.A. shows off some of the vehicle customization options, driving conditions, character interactions, and more.
Road Truckers: New Beginning, which is coming to both PC and PS5 later this year, will be featured at Gamescom. There is also a playtest happening soon on Steam with sign-ups open now. You can watch the trailer below to see what the developers have been working on.
Earth Defense Force 6.2: Invaders From Another World Announced

A revamped installment of Earth Defense Force 6 has been announced and will release in 2027 for PlayStation 5 in Japan.
Earth Defense Force 6.2: Invaders From Another World is an updated version of the 2022 release, designed specifically for the PS5 with modern advancements. The announcement trailer, which you can watch below, features the series’ signature appeal of an overwhelming sense of despair and exhilaration of defeating gigantic enemies.
The game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026 in September.
Omega Phenex Developer Quits Job to Focus on Game Development

The solo developer behind the impressive mecha game Omega Phenex: Commenced Project Six announced that he has quit his day job to focus on development to provide us with an even better experience.

Sea Power Teases Future Content and Features Including Falklands

Sea Power developer Triassic Games announced that it’s targeting an October 2026 release for the South Atlantic 1982 campaign featuring the Falklands, while work continues on the Great Britain and Argentina factions.
More units are also being developed for the JMSDF, the U.S. Navy, and the Soviet Navy, while the following features are coming.
- Updated Formation Manager, with unit-category tabs, formation renaming, and easier reordering of formations and units.
- Expanded weapon-aiming previews, giving clearer visual feedback on weapon range, seeker acquisition areas, search patterns, and wake-homing torpedo attacks before launch.
- Further improvements to the Unit Reference/Encyclopedia, including more useful information on unit characteristics, sensors, weapons, loadouts, submarine noise and quieting, and Task Force Mode cost breakdowns.
- Continued fixes and refinements across saved missions, Task Force Mode stores and pricing, sonar behavior, map settings, weapon systems, and scenario tools.
