Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including the release of an aircraft and three airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, alongside release details for another aircraft.

Cessna Citation CJ3+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Release Details

LivToAir announced on its Discord server that its Cessna Citation CJ3+ will release on the official Microoft Flight Simulator marketplace on May 1 and will be priced at $26.99.

The plan is to release the MSFS 2024 version at the same time, but that’s not set in stone just yet.

Blackshape BK160-TR Gabriél Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

Flying Fries released a rendition of the Blackshape BK160-TR Gabriél general aviation trainer. It’s available on Orbx Direct and on Simmarket for approximately $23.

It includes the following features:

  • Highly detailed 3D modeling and 4K texturing.
  • Custom sound pack created specifically for the Gabriel.
  • Modern engine/propeller simulation and modern fuel system.
  • Complex electrical system with working circuit breakers.
  • Multiple custom pilot/passengers that can be selected from the EFB.
  • Failure system including broken propeller and canopy.
  • Fly with or without engine covers… And get a close look at the Lycoming IO-320.
  • Multiple payload configurations: fly from the front or rear seat, with or without a passenger.
  • Uses the MSFS/Working Title native Garmin avionics and autopilot suite.
  • Aircraft configuration and fueling via the EFB (no need for the fuel and payload menu or the FS2024 EFB).
  • Engine and ground roll vibration effects in the cockpit.
  • Interactive exterior static elements (remove the chocks, pitot covers and access stairs manually if you wish).
  • All custom visual effects (various engine smoke, heat blur, dust and rain spray, etc.)
  • 10 unique liveries. Some of them are based on their real counterparts.
  • 5 LODs for  optimized multiplayer performance.
  • Lots of easter eggs to find

Dortmund Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator and MSFS 2024

Aerosoft and MPScenery released Dortmund Airport (EDLW) in Germany for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020. It’s available on the Aerosoft store for $18.29.

It includes the following features.

  • Designed interior with animated passengers
  • Viewing terrace on the upper level, also with animated passengers
  • Including GAT, two helicopter stands & flight school complex of Star Wings Dortmund
  • Custom jetway and lighting models
  • Custom models for static objects, e.g. tankers and fire engines
  • Custom GSX profile included (with functional VDGS)

Tabarka–Aïn Draham International Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Cat3Dual released the MSFS 2024 version of its Tabarka–Aïn Draham International Airport (DTKA) in Tunisia. It’s currently available on Simmarket for $10.82.

It includes the following features, and a free upgrade is available for those who purchased the MSFS 2020 version released a couple of weeks ago.

  • Handcrafted passenger terminal, air traffic control tower, and fire station
  • Accurate airfield wayfinders: airfield lighting, taxiway signs and markings
  • Custom perimeter wall and apron flood lights
  • Custom windsock with red obstruction lights
  • Landside enhancement with red/white curbs, security checkpoints, and carpark

Rijeka Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 Released

Pilot Experience Sim released its Rijeka Airport (LDRI) in Croatia. It’s available on iniBuilds for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 for $13.03.

Be sure to get the right version because you get only a 35% discount to purchase the version for the other simulator.
