Aerosoft, TML Studios, and Rivet Games have announced two upcoming DLCs for its hit transportation simulator, The Bus, including a major expansion that will take players to Manhattan.
The Bus – New York City introduces the M34 and M34A bus lines across 6.5 kilometers of the city, recreating 25 blocks of Manhattan with more than 300 handcrafted buildings, hundreds of street objects, and the dense traffic and activity associated with New York.
The M34 route runs along 34th Street between the East and Hudson River waterfronts, while the M34A connects the Port Authority area with 34th Street before continuing toward FDR Drive. Together, the routes feature more than 26 bus stops and are designed around detailed road layouts, authentic stop locations and architectural styles, while local traffic, pedestrians, AI buses and city events add additional challenges to navigating the busy streets.
The expansion will also feature complete timetables for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, giving players different schedules to follow depending on the day. Aerosoft, TML Studios and Rivet Games also plan to expand the New York City experience through free updates following release.
The second DLC, The Bus – New York US LFS Bus, expands the game’s fleet with a fourth-generation US LFSA articulated bus measuring 18 meters in length and featuring three doors. The vehicle is designed to complement the New York setting and includes adjustable wing mirrors, controllable interior and exterior lighting, a working accessibility ramp, a dedicated operator screen, US currency, and customizable interior and exterior options.
The bus DLC is also planned to receive two additional 12-meter variants, including a fourth-generation two-door US LFS and a first-generation two-door US LFSe. Both The Bus – New York City and The Bus – New York US LFS Bus are available to wishlist on Steam, with the two DLCs also planned for consoles at a later date.
