Flight Simulation developers shared news today, focusing on scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.
That being said, before we move on to the news, check out a story that received individual coverage earlier today.
Western Sydney Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets New Screenshots

Drzewiecki Design has showcased new screenshots of its Western Sydney International Airport (YSWS) in Australia. We also get a brief development update.
“The terminal is shaping up beautifully—outside we’re working on lighting, ventilation, roofing, and windows, while the main hall interior is starting to come together with realistic structure and detailing.
The Experience Center is nearly done and looking fantastic. On the transport side, we’ve added two more overpasses and just began work on the underground metro station—a tricky but rewarding challenge that requires blending complex geometry with terrain transitions.
We’ve also added a full set of technical buildings, updated all signage, and completed the AFCAD, ensuring accurate layout and full AI support. On the apron, we’ve been busy with realistic concrete textures, surface division lines, and subtle weathering effects for extra immersion.
To top it off, custom liveries for key airlines are now integrated and looking sharp in sim.”
