Seed Lab has announced a My Time at Portia crossover for its upcoming farming/life sim, Starsand Island.
The My Time series, which begins with My Time at Portia, is a popular life/farming sim from Pathea Games, and it’s arguably a perfect crossover title for Starsand Island. The crossover will bring two characters from My Time at Portia to the upcoming farming/life sim, siblings Gus and Ginger.
Gus and Ginger will permanently move to the island, where players will be able to get to know them. While they aren’t romanceable like they are in My Time at Porta, Starsand Island players will be able to increase their friendship to four hearts, which unlocks their special story.
The siblings are both calm and gentle, and Gus will continue his architectural duties.
There’s an adorable trailer to celebrate the Starsand Island and My Time at Portia collaboration, which fans can view below. The trailer also features the romanceable characters in Starsand Island, as well as highlights of their stories.
There are also new screenshots for the game, including ones that show off Gus and Ginger’s looks as they’re created in Starsand Island’s animation style:
Starsand Island is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in February of 2026. Gus and Ginger will come shortly after the game’s release.
