Cloud Imperium Games has announced most of the schedule of CitizenCon 2954, including the panels that will reveal the future of the growing space simulator.
The show featuring all things Star Citizen will be hosted next week, on Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20.
According to the new schedule most exciting panel announced today is titled “The Stars My Destination: Star Citizen 1.0” described as follows

It will happen at Noon BST, and will basically provide more information on 1.0, which will represent the “release” version of Star Citizen’s persistent universe.
As you can see above, more panels will focus on the technology behind the game, improvements to social features, new ways to define character identity, new systems beyond the upcoming Pyro (which will be released in version Alpha 4.0), base building and the ships and vehicles that will enable it.
Those who are waiting for news about the single-player campaign of the game, Squadron 42, shouldn’t worry, as a big “redacted” panel designed to close day one is most likely about that.
If you’re unfamiliar with Squadron 42, it’s a full-fledged cinematic campaign starring an exceptional cast of famous actors including Mark Hamill, Henry Cavill, Gary Oldman, Liam Cunningham, Gillian Anderson, and more.
Star Citizen is a crowdfunded multiplayer open-world sandbox space simulator that has been in development for several years. It’s directed by Chris Roberts of Wing Commander fame.
The game has recently passed $727 million in crowdfunding ($727,282,873 at the moment of this writing) and counts 5,357,839 registered users. Of course, many of them aren’t paying customers, as they register accounts to enjoy Free Fly Events.
