Today, Superkami released the Sengoku Dynasty Shokunin update, which introduces beekeeping, new architectural options, and legendary weapon sets
Players can now craft beehives and a pottery kiln, build using stone foundations and clay roofs, and equip new Beekeeper clothing. Beehives are used to harvest honey and beeswax, providing new resources to satisfy villagers’ hunger and luxury needs.
The Pottery Kiln workstation is used to create pottery using clay and charcoal. The expanded building options have added stone foundations, matching entrance ramps, traditional clay roof tiles, paper-based doors, and straw-woven fences.
The two new legendary weapon sets are the Spirit of the Woods and Spirit of the Sea:
- Spirit of the Woods: Craftable ōtsuchi and kanabo, to accompany the already available naginata, obtained through the Three Corpses quest.
- Spirit of the Seas: Contains ōtsuchi, kanabo, tanto, and katana.
Other equipment coming in the Sengoku Dynasty Shokunin update includes a traditional Beekeeper Clothing Set and unique Bird and Cat masks. In addition to new gameplay features, multiple bug fixes have been implemented.
The developers were able to resolve multiple input-loss scenarios, fixed DLC-code-related crashes, and corrected issues with banner displays and sorting jobs. UI improvements also include a radial menu restructuring so that decorations appear alongside recipes from village structures, light Sources (lamp stands & lamps), and Weapon Racks (racks & weapons).
Sengoku Dynasty is a first-person city-building simulator that’s set in feudal Japan. It was released on PC (Steam) in late 2024 and wasported to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 back in August. The game tasks them with building and managing villages, as you must gather resources, craft, hunt, build, and farm to make sure the populace grows and thrives.
