Version 1.3 of Roots of Pacha includes two new regions, each with its own new characters and animals, plus even more content like new ideas, caves, flora, fauna, and endgame things.

Welcome to the Mograni Mountains and Yakuan Islands, the two regions introduced with the Sun and Moon update. These areas each have three subregions, and players will be able to learn about the cultures of each area. They each have their own practices and rituals that guide them.

In the new regions, players will be able to learn new ancestral secrets, experience the sun and moon festivals, play music with the locals, and more.

New flora like Lentil Seeds, Rye, and Soaproot lead to new inventions. Plus, new animals like dodos and pandas can be found in the areas.

There are also new characters, including single ones. Players can romance the Mograni silver fox, Azkel, and the brokenhearted Yakuan resident, Sayra.

Of course, Version 1.3 also includes new outfits and decorations. Players will also be able to learn how to fish aboard sailboats.

The Co-Founder of Soda Den, Timothy Dadone Nasello, shared his thoughts on the past two years of Roots of Pacha:

“The journey of making Roots of Pacha has been an incredible experience. We’re grateful to everyone who’s been a part of it, and especially to the community that formed around it and that, just like the game, wonders about our human origins and the limitless possibilities of our curiosity.”

Players can watch the trailer for the update below:

Roots of Pacha Sun and Moon Version 1.3 update is live now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the game will be at a 50% discount for one week to celebrate the second anniversary.

In case you missed it, you can check out the Version 1.2 update for Roots of Pacha. Plus, check out the Sokuban Box-Pushing Fest on Steam, which has even more games on sale.
