Pocketpair has announced that Palworld is coming to players in a new form with the Palworld Official Card Game, created alongside Bushiroad, a company best known for its trading card games.
The Palworld Official Card Game is a two-person card game, where players will compete against each other with their Pal companions. The battles themselves are focused on strategy and tactics instead of raw power.
Additionally, players will need to focus on building their base and gathering resources, similar to the video game itself. Pals will have their own traits to help with this, too.
A teaser trailer was released for the trading card game, which players can watch below:
While the teaser trailer doesn’t give much of an idea about the game itself, it does reveal several of the cute Pals that should be included, such as Cattiva, Pengullet, Tanzee, Grizzbolt, and more. It also shows off a brief look at what the cards will look like with Lamball as an example.
The Palworld Card Game will be released on July 30, 2026.
Pocketpair is working with Bushiroad for this project. If you’re not aware, Bushiroad has several popular trading card games, including Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz. Bushiroad also has other projects outside of trading card games, like the BanG Dream! idol franchise that spans mobile games, anime, and the music industry itself.
