PlayStation has announced that the State of Play for Ghost of Yōtei will be on July 10, which will feature mostly gameplay for the upcoming open-world action adventure game.
Last month, PlayStation announced that the State of Play for Ghost of Yōtei, specifically covering gameplay, would be coming this month. However, before today, there wasn’t a specific date in mind.
This specific State of Play will be almost 20 minutes long. Jason Connell and Nate Fox, two Creative Directors at Sucker Punch, will host the event.
Those tuning in will learn about the main character, Atsu, and her vengeance-fueled adventure. They’ll also see her weapons and how they work, along with new ways to make the journey feel personal. The State of Play will also show off new “special modes” and more.
In case you didn’t know, Ghost of Yōtei is set roughly 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The story follows Atsu during the start of the Edo period in Hokkaido, Japan, as she seeks revenge for her murdered family.
The Ghost of Yōtei State of Play will be streamed on July 10, 2025, at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/ 10 pm BST/11 pm CEST. Fans can watch it on the official PlayStation Twitch and/or YouTube channels.
Until then, players can watch the original announcement for the State of Play from last month below:
