Koei Tecmo announced the release date for Fairy Tail 2 will be December 31, and it celebrated with a brand-new trailer.
The trailer shows off the action-packed gameplay between the Fairy Tail Guild and the Spriggan 12. Led by the Emperor of the Alvarez Empire, Zeref, the battle will force players to use everything in their arsenal to win. The guild members can use their skills together, creating combos and synergies. These are vital to taking down their enemies.
That wasn’t all the news from Koei Tecmo. The trailer also includes information about pre-order bonuses and the Fairy Tail 2 Guild Box.
The Fairy Tail 2 Guild Box will include the full game; a visual artbook, “Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition Vol. 2”; special Shikishi with a holographic finish; an original illustration B2 cloth poster; and the original soundtrack CD.
Pre-order bonuses, either digitally or physically, will get the Miss Fairy Tail Contest costume for Lucy. Digital pre-orders will get the Natsu of Edolas costume for Natsu.
More information will be released in the future about a digital deluxe version. It will include more costumes, characters, game scenarios, and DLC.
