This morning, Codemasters and EA let players know that the Community-Raised Issues thread for F1 25 is live, while also explaining exactly what they’re working on and what’s already done and waiting for the first patch.
The EA Community-Raised Issues thread is something that the F1 team has been doing for years prior to F1 25 for other F1 games, according to the announcement on Steam. This post regularly monitors the bugs and issues that players have reported. From there, it provides workarounds that the team knows of.
This post is updated regularly, and players can set up reminders for it after signing into the EA Forums here. It will also show what’s being actively worked on and what’s already fixed and simply waiting for a patch to be released. EA does point out that this doesn’t mean it’ll be coming in the next patch — it could come out a few patches later, depending on other factors, like what’s already scheduled.
There are already a few problems fixed that are awaiting a patch. These include the following:
- The Forza Ferrari radio message when players are racing with Carlos Sainz
- Balancing of the APX GP and Konnersport in Career mode
- The wrong sponsor messages talking during the Talk to Press scenes
Several problems that are being worked on have workarounds, including the following:
- PC crashing: update graphics drivers, EA has seen this be the problem for almost all of the reported game crashes
- Triple-screen crashing on PC: disable DLSS when using triple-screens for now
- Rewind tutorial not completing in VR: first, complete it outside of VR
Other problems that are being worked on include:
- Audio lines not matching the weather
- XeFG not working
- Awkward lighting in Photo Mode when Path Tracing is on
- Track bumps on Japan and Spain
- OSD elements not moving correctly
- OSD elements with unintended text capitalization
