EVO 2026 just ended, and while it featured plenty of competitive fighting game spectacle, it also included a number of reveals and announcements.
We start with Tekken 8, with the gameplay reveal of Bob.
We learn that he’ll come on August 24, with early access for season pass owners on August 19.
The trailer, which you can watch below, also reveals Bob’s costumes and showcases the announcement that a trailer for Roger Jr. is coming. It’ll be featured on October 11 at EVO France before the character’s release in the fall.
We also get another reveal from Arc System Works with another team for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the Samurai Outriders.
It includes new characters Blade, Loki, and Deadpool, led by Robbie Reyes as Ghost Rider.
A new character was also revealed for Virtua Fighter Crossroads, the mysterious Bakunawa Killer. For some reason, it appears that Pai Chan has been searching for him.
On the SNK front, we get the launch trailer for Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken), who is now available as a guest character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
The developer also released a video message from Fist of the North Star creator Tetsuo Hara.
Lastly, the prolific fighting game developer also announced an update coming for the venerable The King of Fighters XV, which will release on July 2.
