During the celebrations for EVO Japan in Tokyo, Arc System Works revealed two new characters coming to the fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
As part of the Fighting Avengers team, we get Hulk and Black Panther, with Shuri behind the mask.
The voice actors have also been announced. Hulk will be voiced in English by Fred Tatasciore, who isn’t a surprising pick considering that he voiced the Jade Giant in many games and other media.
Shuri will be voiced by Erica Luttrell, who already played the role in Marvel’s Avengers.
In Japanese, they will be played by Atsushi Miyauchi, who is actually the official actor for Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Mitsuho Kanbe.
A trailer was released to celebrate, and you can watch it below. Not only do we get to see gameplay of both characters, but the trailer also begins with a rather cute anime introduction.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be released on August 6, 2026, for PS5 and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). It’s developed by Arc System Works and published by PlayStation.
If you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s a tag-team fighting game featuring a plethora of Marvel characters. One of the most relevant elements that sets it apart is its unique 4v4 setup, which certainly isn’t an overly explored territory for the genre.
If you’d like to see more of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, you can enjoy the original reveal and the reveal of the Unbreakable X-Men team.
