Today, SCS Software released new screenshots and footage of the upcoming Iceland DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, focusing on Keflavík.
If you’re unfamiliar with Keflavík, it’s a town near the capital city, Reykjavík. Its main claim to fame is being the location of the main international airport serving Reykjavík and the whole island.
Of course, this means that most of the cargo incoming to Iceland passes through Keflavík, offering plenty of trucking opportunities for players.
According to the official post, the area includes a shipyard, a car dealer, a supermarket, a fuel station, and a service point. You’ll also find Route 41, which connects directly to Reykjavík.
In terms of landmarks, there are a few, notably art installations and sculptures.
Below, you can check out the screenshots and a video published on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. Update 1.59 for PC is in the works.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, and the coastlines.
The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, Antwerp, Eindhoven , Groningen, and the Gas Stations. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
