SCS Software released new screenshots and footage of the upcoming Benelux rework coming for Euro Truck Simulator 2, focusing on Amsterdam.
In the official post, we get to see the capital of the Netherlands, which has been completely rebuilt from the ground up.
The developers decide to keep the A10 Zuid ring road above ground, even if it’s being moved to a tunnel in the real world. Of course, there will be plenty of recognizable landmarks and even Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Today, we also get to see the coastal town of IJmuiden, with its ferry that connects the country with the UK.
Below, you can check out the screenshots (the last three show the ferry) and a video published on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. Update 1.59 for PC is in the works.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, and Keflavík.
The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, Antwerp, Eindhoven , Groningen, and the Gas Stations. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
