Dutch player Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore from Team Liquid just won the EA Sports FC 25 championship at the Esports World Cup 2025.
ManuBachoore defeated Brice from Team Vitality with a 5-3 score in the final match.
Third place was taken by another Team Liquid player, Levi de Weerd, who beat GuiBarros in the decider match with a 4-1 score.
ManuBachoore brings home a prize pool of $250,000, while Brice won $150,000, and both Levi de Weerd and GuiBarros won $70,000 each.
These placements put Team Liquid back at the top of the Esports World Cup’s somewhat controversial Club Championship Ranking, which many see as basically designed to give the organization that participates to the most events a disproportionate chance to say that they “Won the EWC.”
Conveniently, that’s the local organization Team Falcons, which is now in second place with 7 events to go out of 22, but saw its hopes in the EA Sports FC 25 championship dashed with its front-runner Abu Makkah knocked off in the first round of the playoffs. Team Liquid has only 5 events to go out of 13, so they need to make it up by winning, in order to beat the odds stacked against them.
