Today, developer weltenbauer and publisher astragon Entertainment announced Construction Simulator: Evolution, the latest upcoming entry in the long-running simulation franchise, is set to launch in Q4 2026.
While the core elements of previous Construction Simulator titles, like taking on construction contracts, operating powerful machines, and watching projects come to life, the sequel seeks to modernize gameplay. This led to two new major gameplay pillars: demolition and manual labor.
Demolition is exactly what it sounds like, as players will now be able to actively tear down structures using specialized machinery and tools. These range from specialized attachments, like hydraulic breakers, steel shears, and concrete crushers, with each offering a different way to approach a task.
This works in tandem with the manual labor system, which lets you work hands-on with tools like hydraulic hammers, table saws, and nail guns for ground-level tasks. New tasks have been added, such as cutting wooden elements to size, building walls brick by brick, and applying plaster to finish surfaces, all of which have been fully integrated into missions and add even more variety to the overall gameplay experience.
The fleet system has been significantly expanded, adding 180 machines and attachments from more than 35 globally recognized manufacturers, including new license partners, including Volvo, Epiroc, and Sennebogen. Two new maps, “Amber Falls” (inspired by the USA) and “Maienstein” (inspired by Germany), are being added, each featuring its own extensive campaign and unique environmental challenges.

Speaking of the campaign, a new quick-play option that lets players jump directly into specific construction activities without starting a full campaign. Returning brands include Caterpillar, Liebherr, Case, Bobcat, Mack Trucks, and Kenworth.
Construction Simulator: Evolution is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more information on this and other construction simulators, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily updates.
