Today, Funcom and Inflexion Games announced Conan Exiles Enhanced: Legacy of the Giant-Kings, a free four-part story arc that will begin July 21, 2026.
The three additional free updates for Conan Exiles Enhanced: Legacy of the Giant-Kings are set to release at some point in the next few months.
The announcement follows the release of Conan Exiles Enhanced, which Funcom said reached a peak of 47,949 concurrent players, the highest player count since the game’s launch. Head of Production at Inflexion Games Leah Summers said the following regarding the new content:
“We conceived this story arc and its gameplay during the development of the Enhanced Edition, and we’re thrilled to have brought it to life in collaboration with Funcom,” Summers said. “We’ve created new characters and stories that expand the world of Conan Exiles.”

Conan Exiles Enhanced: The Legacy of the Giant-Kings storyline takes players beneath the Unnamed City into the Cyclopean Halls. In these ancient halls, they’ll not only discover Akhamet but also be tasked with investigating the remains of the Giant-Kings.
The four free story updates are set to both expand the game’s lore and introduce plenty of exciting new challenges. Alongside this, the first update is set to add Legendary repair, a long-requested community feature that allows players to restore high-end Legendary equipment.
Legendary repair will be accessible via the Anvil after players discover it during the new content, though information is still scarce regarding the requirements to fix such important gear.
Conan Exiles was originally released on May 10, 2018, and has since become one of the most established and consistent games in the survival genre. Funcom said the Enhanced Edition and Legacy of the Giant-Kings updates are just the first steps in the game’s ongoing roadmap plans, as they hope to keep supporting the title for years to come.
